Celebrating its 25th anniversary, The Central Pennsylvania Womyn's Chorus brings together a diverse group of women, united by the joy of singing, to celebrate and empower women and to affirm a positive image of lesbians and feminists.

Theresa Alberici has been singing with the chorus about 10 years. She tells The Central Voice her first memory is of “being in a safe and welcoming place where I could share my passion for singing and also be totally out.”

Also with the chorus about a decade, Laury McIntyre says by the end of the first season “I’d made a bunch of new friends and my self-esteem grew. She had a solo her second season.
